We all know that the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun—because, come on, guns make us safer. Therefore, I propose that the United States Congress enact an open carry policy within those hallowed chambers.
What better way to demonstrate to The People that guns are the only solution to guns than by allowing members of Congress and U.S. Citizens to proudly display their Second Amendment rights? We have seen time and time again that gun violence is carried out in gun-free zones. So to enhance the safety of my federal representatives, I hope they find the courage to openly arm themselves and everyone else. My thoughts and prayers are with them.
