Forced arbitration should be banned. Consumers should not have to waive their right to sue as a condition for consuming a product or service.
Forced arbitration clauses rob consumers of their rights to recover damages, by forcing the consumer to waive their right to sue in a court of law, instead presenting their case to an arbitrator. This means that if you have to recover damages due to the vendor's negligence, you are at the mercy of an arbitrator - there is no right of appeal, and there is no public record.
Please help stop this perversion of the law.
