1. Interest caps on the lifetime of the loan of 25% of the original amount borrowed.
2. Ability to refinance at current interest rates for private loans.
3. Federal loans refinanced to 0-2%. 0% if the lifetime interest cap has been met. All new federal up to 2% max.
4. 10 year forgiveness for education and medical loans
5. 25 year forgiveness for all other loan types
6. Not charged taxes for any amount forgiven in the forgiveness loans.
7. Any interest paid should be treated the same as a home mortgage interest on your taxes.
8. Student loan debt will be calculated when deciding child support and alimony
