To protect consumers from "micro-transactions" in video games and to stop relying on the "Always on internet connection"

Created by B.K. on March 15, 2013

As most of us know most new games require an "always on" internet connection to even play single player games. In the even of server failures or an internet connection going down this renders the game unplayable. This should not be the case. As consumers if we buy a product we expect it to work. If it does not work we claim it as a defective product.

The other part of this is to protect from the "micro-transactions". Most of these items for purchase are stronger than most things found throughout in game play or you have to buy them in order to complete the game.

All I am asking for is some consumer protection to play the games as we want and not have to suffer or lose because we cannot afford the high priced DLC or because we don't have an internet connection.
