MPAA and RIAA lobbyists, amongst others, are arguing to the Supreme Court in the case of Kirstaeng v. Wiley that a consumer's rights to re-sell their books, music, and other media products should be restricted.
The Obama administration's own solicitor general has filed a brief in agreement, in essence allowing companies to sue consumers for selling used media on eBay, Craigslist, etc. This is astonishing, and completely against the best interests of the people of the United States.
Mr. Obama: please reverse course before the Supreme Court decides, and it's too late!
