On November 6th, 2012, the United States Citizens of Puerto Rico, held a general referendum with two questions ask.

1). Do they want to mantain their current COLONIAL status.

The United States Citizens of Puerto Rico VOTED NO!!

2). Which option amongst the valid: Statehood, Sovereign Commonwealth or Independence, do the Puerto Rican People prefer: They in over 61% voted

STATEHOOD

It is time for the United States to protect the will of the people as secured by International law and the Constitution and laws of the United States. And the President should request U.S. Congress to enact legislation to secure and protect the democratic desicion made by our fellow citizens from that U.S. Territory.

It is time for the U.S. to STOP trying to build democracies in the World and fix our own.
