To protect the sanctity of marriage as it pertains to Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and many other faith in the United States. The Government governs Civil Unions as they were created to give equal power to people in the United State to practice Homosexuality in all its forms and give them rights to all the legal inheritance of their mate as it does with marriages. However, do not intrude upon and defile the sanctity of marriage as it pertains to faith for Christians, Islamist, Jews, etc. for the sake of people who desire it so for their on reasons. Govern Civil unions and pass laws to protect them from discrimination just like you passed laws to protect marriage(male and female unions) but leave the definition of marriage in its Religious and Civil law alone.
