Protect families and spouses from discrimination based on sexual orientation. With the success of the repeal of DADT and the recent response from the Pentagon it is clear the Commander and Chief needs to act. Make it clear discrimination is not an acceptable trait. Protected classes of “race, color, religion, origin, sex, age, familial status, disability, veteran status and genetic information” should include “sexual orientation”
This should be a federal mandate and a protection to all citizens of the United States of America.
