Protect Federal Government Employees

The recent government shutdown strongly indicates that congress believes federal employees are tools at their disposal. The enforcement of a federal shutdown not only impacts our nation’s credibility & necessary daily services it also affects the people who uphold & implement legislation borne out of congress; the federal employee and contractors.
There must be another way to obtain the “desires” of congress without imposing sanctions on the federal worker’s benefits and salaries.
It should be known that Federal employees & their contractors work hard every day ensuring the legislation congress ratifies is implemented according to their specifications.
Please protect the federal workers; we need them to want to do their job & to be able to do their job!
