Request the president provide meaningful comment and denounce the police action taken against peaceful demonstrators.
It seems the administration has forgotten, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
Actions against the Occupy movement which are in clear violation of the bedrock of our constitution have not drawn any statement from the administration. Similar actions abroad have drawn immediate and clear disapproval from the administration. There has been no such statement domestically.
