protect the First Amendment by stopping the FCC from placing monitors in in the press rooms across the country.

Created by L.G. on February 21, 2014

Whereas the First Amendment of the United States Constitution was designed to separate the press and government; We petition the white house to protect the First Amendment by stopping the FCC's monitor program. The FCC and the Federal government has no business doing any study on "Critical Information Needs" or CINs, nor any place in the press rooms of our nation.

Allowing this program to continue would be a violation of the First Amendment, or at the very least the first steps to said violations.
