Help improve political discourse by limiting the concentration of media ownership. Almost all broadcast and cable networks in America are controlled by only nine corporations. We the People consider this to be an oligopoly and ask this administration to take aggressive steps to disperse this concentration of power.
Similar limited competition arrangements exist in all forms of media and communication. This is inherently damaging to free speech, open discussion, and the Fourth Estate. Voices of millions cannot possibly be heard if all of the megaphones are controlled by so few. We want to prevent future media and communication mergers as well as the break-up of existing conglomerates.
