Thousands of garden gnomes have immigrated to the United States in the past century, but despite being an important group in our society, they still do not have protection under the law to let them keep their homes. Too often, garden gnomes who have found safety in trees, gardens, and forests across the nation have been subject to backyard remodeling, park renovation, and other forms of deforestation -- simply based on the fact they are gnomes. We ask members of Congress to pass an Act ensuring the safety and well-being for American Garden Gnomes everywhere.
