The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals is an executive order instituted by President Obama that protects millions of students from deportation. DACA grants students the chance to legally work, pay taxes, obtain a driver's license, and in-state tuition.
DACA does not encourage illegal immigration because there are a list of requirements students must meet before being eligible. Students have been brought over at a young age and have pledged their allegiance to the United States for most of their lives. President Donald Trump and the GOP promise to revoke DACA.
Please support the hardworking students that positively contribute to the economy by working and paying taxes. Despite not having the legality of citizenship, they have the heart of an American.
