Employers should not be allowed to terminate the employment of a health care worker because he or she does not want an influenza vaccine. Health care workers should have the choice of what goes into their bodies without worrying about their employment status. This petition also protects employees from having their influenza vaccination status displayed on their bodies or badges. Making an employee display whether or not they've been vaccinated is a HIPAA violation.
