Protect the Human Rights of the Doctors, Nurses and Medics in Bahrain who are persecuted for simply treating patients.

I sincerely urge our government to stand up with the people of Bahrain who have been peacefully and tirelessly protesting to democratize their country yet have been ruthlesslly brutalized and prosecuted without a cause. Please stand up for the doctors, nurses and medics who did nothing but to help and care wounded patients, yet have been arrested, tortured and put on trial. Please help human rights lawyers, activists, and opposition leaders who have been subjected to the same cruel and undeserving punishment as the doctors. Please watch the excellent documentary on the suffering of Bahrainis; "Bahrain: Shouting in the Dark." If the United States is to stand by the people who aspire freedom and democracy, we have to stand by the people of Bahrain.
