Protect Innocence: Children's rights to safety in the United States (PIC-US)

Created by P.M. on December 18, 2012

Congress and every level of government must create effective and protective changes of all law and policy in the Unites States pertaining to violent crimes and weapons of any type that can hurt or kill. Children should have the right to live in a society free of fear of stray or intended bullets and attacks. Violent crimes occur daily around the United States, and mass tragedies, i.e. Sandy Hook Elementary, Columbine, and Aurora, occur too often for Americans to not create effective change. Signing this petition would be telling our elected officials that true civil liberties can only be defined by the rights we protect of our young, elderly, and infirmed; and that WE THE PEOPLE must bring change to avoid senseless and largely avoidable killings.
