this petition calls for the banning of any foreign participation in the U.S. lottery. As seen for the 1.5 Billion dollar powerball jackpot people from other countries have been buying tickets from U.S. corporations or private citizens themselves. this petition calls for an end to that and to ban any citizen or corporation from selling lottery tickets to foreigners.
this petition also calls for stronger ID checks in times of high jackpots. this means ONLY when a jackpot reaches over 300 million all stores that sell lottery tickets must ID check anyone regardless of how old they look or face heavy fines. it must be stressed ONLY when a jackpot reaches a high amount all ID checks will be required. this petition DOES NOT ban foreigners from buying scratchers.
