Protect intensely personal choices with a constitutional amendment.

Created by R.T. on December 21, 2012

Seek a constitutional amendment that protects against government interference in intensely personal choices.

Congress shall make no law that shall bar individuals from making intensely private or personal choices so long as that choice is not detrimental to the health and good order of the society, or endangers the well-being of other individuals including children. This includes, but is not limited to, the right of people to be married in the eyes of the law and the right for a woman to terminate a pregnancy. Congress shall not bar families, churches, civic groups and private organizations from their ability to inform individuals regarding intensely personal choices, and shall recognize the diversity of points of view regarding the ethical and moral implications of these choices.
