protect legitimacy of federal elections by requiring a photo ID and proof of citizenship in order to vote.

Created by P.W. on July 01, 2013

We the people of the United States of America demand that our federal election process and results be protected by either:

(1) instituting and enforcing new or enhanced regulations that require proof of citizenship and a photo ID to vote in federal elections or, if not possible at the federal level, then by

(2) supporting the right of states to determine and enforce citizenship and photo ID voting requirements.

Voting gives all citizens a voice in self-government which is crucial to protecting our very lives, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. Ensuring that only U.S. citizens participate in the federal election process protects these Constitutional rights and helps to protect our national security.
