Lesbian, Gay men, Bisexual, and Transgender rights need to be protected. Change the law, House Bill 2, imposed by North Carolina that says the bathroom a person uses is determined by the biological gender they had at birth. Provide family bathrooms in public places for transgender people who have not had reassignment surgery. Those who have had the surgery should be legally allowed to use the bathroom they assign themselves to. This is the first step in fully protecting their rights. The federal government should step in to stop the denial of basic human rights to people simply because of their gender identification. Sign this petition to help them live a fair and equal life.
