Protect the marine ecosystems of the Gulf of Mexico from oil spills.

Created by J.B. on May 07, 2014

The Gulf of Mexico is home to a number of unique and invaluable species of sea life. This abundant wildlife includes five species of sea turtles, which are all threatened or endangered. However, these living creatures and their marine ecosystems are under a constant threat due to human activity. The need for energy resources is a reality of modern life, but degrading and diminishing the natural resources of our beautiful planet does not have to be. Oil spills, like the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in 2010, negatively impact our planet for many years and in a number of ways. Please help protect the Gulf and its inhabitants from the long lasting damage of oil spills by supporting greater safety measures, so future generations will be able to cherish this amazing part of our world.
