protect Medicare and not raise the eligibility age in negotiations about the Fiscal Cliff.

Created by S.J. on December 15, 2012

Seniors need to be able to have Medicare from age 65 on. It is not realistic to expect Seniors to find work until age 67 which provides the necessary healthcare as a benefit.
By raising medicare eligibility age to 67 would only shift the cost of healthcare to seniors who, in their majority, would not be able to finance their own health care cost.
Medicare should not be traded in Fiscal Cliff negotiations.
