Our company of less than 500 people received an email from our corporate accountant reading, "remember that FICA taxes have increased from 4.2% to 6.2% as of January 1, 2013." New taxes on the middles class, how is this possible? We're not elites or the 1% - we're working class people. We often drive used, older and economy cars; are raising children and preparing for our futures. I don't recall ever having a gross income making more than the 200K or 250K would see tax hikes.
If one is never enough, 1,000 won't be enough either. The government will never be satisfied with its current tax revenue.
