Protect Milk Prices by making a new Farm Bill

In January of 2013 the price of milk is due to double to almost $8 a gallon. Due to the expiration of the Farm Bill, this huge rise in price would cause utter damage to the milk industry and the amount of milk consumers could afford. This milk increase would cause many bakeries and farms to close doors. Milk is an American staple, we have it in our cereal, hot chocolate, eggs, pancakes, cakes, muffins, and many other dishes. Without affordable milk American cuisine just might turn into bland, watery mush. This petition demands that the Obama administration:
-Enacts a new Farm Bill or reinstates the old one
-Protect the price of milk from doubling in any way possible
-Publicly guarantee to the American populace that milk prices will not double
