President Obama has created more National Monuments than any prior president. Because of this, over 2 million acres of land are now preserved as National Monuments.
However, much more can be done! The US is over 2.4 BILLION acres. The 2 million acres preserved by President Obama can be greatly increased, as it now represents about 1/10th of 1% of our overall land.
We MUST act now to preserve more land. In President Obama's last year, this would be an awesome legacy to leave to the country, and serve as a great capstone to 8 years of hard work.
