Protect Net Neutrality and preserve innovation and free speech. Taxpayers built the Internet. It belongs to us.

Created by B.S. on July 15, 2014

The Internet belongs to all Americans. This technology grew out of work done by the Department of Defense, funded by tax dollars. Without the American taxpayer, the Internet as we know it would not exist. The open nature of this shared ownership led to incredible innovation, job creation, and economic growth. Open forums led to the sharing of information and the opportunity to discuss important issues. All of that is threatened by the loss of Net Neutrality. New and potentially better technologies would be crushed by dominant brands. Small businesses would be stillborn, unable to reach their target markets. Debate would be stifled by costly barriers to entry and potential corporate censorship. We cannot simply allow corporations to steal what taxpayers created. Preserve Net Neutrality.
