Laws should be enacted for the protection of privacy against any and all forms of NON-governmental and independent data brokers, data brokering companies, companies that sell "background reports" (or provide them for free) who seize or data-mine websites containing public records on American citizens and then choose to disseminate personal information including social security number, background history, credit rating, addresses both past and present, phone numbers both past and present, spouse and marriage information, offspring, known email addresses, memberships, phone numbers, past and present employment, and more, all in the name of capitalism. Our privacy is being eroded day by day and we want these online companies to STOP SELLING & PROVIDING OUR INFORMATION WITHOUT OUR CONSENT!
