The President, the Republicans, the Democrats, and Congress need to remember they are in Washington to be responsible and to protect the Citizens of the United Sates.
Hard working Americans worked through the holidays in order to feed their families and pay their bills from garbage haulers to airline pilots and yet the people we elected to make the tough decisions on our behalf took time off and went home. They should be ashamed of themselves. I would prefer a hard working farmer who has no problem working long hours and can balance his check book representing me in Washington. This country is at a time of crisis and our ELECTED OFFICIALS left town risking everything. Maybe $2,000+ doesn't mean much to them but it does to most Americans.
Fix this problem now or you will all be replaced.
