Protect our Children by asking for volunteers to place SAFE ROOMS in schools

Due to recent events a Sandy Hook Elementary as well as waiting for new gun control laws to pass, I have to ask, Why not protect our children NOW?
There is one thing we can do right now to keep this from happening in our school systems right now and all it takes is Contractors and manufacturers to donate time and material to build Panic Rooms between classrooms.
These rooms should be able to house children from two classrooms and be able to withstand Cat. 5 Hurricane force winds and be impenetrable from bullets.
With teachers and staff having the keys to these rooms and cameras mounted around the classrooms, every life should be safe from a gunman in our schools.
So while we wait for the next tragedy to unfold while our leaders debate the who and whats of gun control, lets take action.
