Currently the Department of Human Resources (DHR) has to investigate all inquiries of child abuse. While this is a great thing to have in place it also opens the door for fraudulent inquiries in an effort to harm others. Something needs to be done in an effort to restrict or minimize the number of fraudulent inquires. DHR was put into place to protect. How are the children being protected when they are enduring continuous questioning, investigations or even being the accused for molesting another child?
If the same person goes to DHR to file a complaint and the case becomes closed (insufficient evidence), that should be the end. However what do we do if that same person has made 4+ complaints with the same outcome? We need to restrict or punish after a number of repeat offences.
