As I do not feel that arming school teachers and school staff is a viable solution to the problem of mass killings in public schools, nor do I feel that it is responsible to rely on gun control efforts to prevent such tragedies from occurring again, I put forth this solution to protecting our children of all ages in every public school in the nation.
The federal government shall provide the funding to pay for the training and salary for no less than two armed and uniformed police officers in every public school in America during the times that school children are present, including after hours classes and functions held on campus.
Having trained professionals on duty should provide protection and serve as a deterrent to those who plan to perpetrate these heinous attacks.
