Protect our children - require GPS tracking devices on all new and used firearms

I am writing this with deep sorrow in my heart. The senseless murders of innocent children at school – such as at Sandyhook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut is incomprehensible to me. Although it is true that people do have the right to bear arms, this should not be used a political tool to circumvent the safety of our nation’s innocent children and law-abiding citizens. Therefore, I am calling upon lawmakers to introduce a bill that would require the following:
• It should be mandatory that a GPS tracking device be assigned to every gun manufactured for sale
• To prohibit tampering and removal, the GPS tracking device must designed to withstand such actions.
