Protect our elderly by providing preventive care and affordable medications through Medicare

Created by M.B. on July 30, 2015

The current Medicare program does not provide preventive care. Patients can receive various tests upon their first doctor visit only. For example patients with histories of heart disease, after that first visit, can not get EKGs or Angiograms paid for by Medicare. In addition life saving drugs can cost upwards of $1000 per month out of pocket. Most senior citizens are living on social security, fixed incomes. They should not have to have a heart attack or die because they are not receiving preventive care. They should not have to ever choose between life saving medications and food. Something must change!
