Dear Mr. President:
In the wake of the recent Sandy Hook tragedy you said that you are committed to protecting our most valuable resource: our children. Well I'm asking you to PROVE IT.
This week I met with a convicted child rapist who was let out of prison after 22 years for repeatedly raping and molesting her own child. She came to me looking for employment. This person clearly has an intellectual disability, so who is to say she has been rehabilitated while she was in jail? Who is to say she now knows right from wrong?
I am shocked, disgusted and appalled that our country would allow convicted rapists and child molestors back out onto our streets. There is no place in our society for these deviants.
My petition: keep these offenders in jail and throw away the key.
