Our quest towards energy independence has allowed the oil and gas industry in America to force highly pressurized water, laced with severely toxic chemicals, into shale to release natural gas. Arsenic, uranium, carcinogens, radium, toluene and more have already found their way into the soil, air and water supply of ranches and private homes causing death of livestock and serious illness in humans. Dead animals are sold to processing plants and recycled into food for other animals. These chemicals can appear on our dinner plate at anytime and we will not know it until we begin to develop skin rashes, nervous system disorders, cancer, pulmonary edema, deformed fetuses, coma and or other symptoms. Numerous studies have proven that fracking is unsafe and it should be outlawed immediately.
