We need metal detectors in every school in America. How many school shootings need to happen before something is done? It's time! Today, we lost 18 very young children due to a gunman entering a school in Connecticut and pulling the trigger. Mothers and fathers lost their children. Grandparents lost grandchildren, brothers and sisters have been lost, friends and coworkers have been lost. This is not only our innocent children and our lives but also our futures. To stand by and watch without acting in a responsible manner is shameful, cruel hearted and unamerican. Our children deserve a safe learning experience.
