Our Law Enforcement Officers promise to "serve and protect" our communities. Why would we not show our appreciation, by giving them bullet proof glass in their patrol cars?
This one action of making the glass bullet proofed, would save lives on a daily basis. It would protect from not just gun fire, but help protect against most threats. Not providing this simple safety solution, is like sending someone off of a boat into the ocean, without a safety vest.
One life taken in the line of duty is one too many. Here in Utah, we have lost two officers within months of each other and another officer with a head catastrophic wound. Law Enforcement Today posts deaths almost every day that could have been prevented with this safety. Pls protect our LEO. Show them & their families we care.
