Protect our macaws from people reselling and going to homes that cannot handle proper care for these birds.

This petition is important to me because I truly I have such love and care for these birds that need our protection.
Macaws are stunning parrots but we need to preserve them and have people that plan on buying them either keep them or surrender them to a qualified macaw owner that have experience with these birds. I see people on ads reselling a macaw due to moving, a baby on the way, and the main one neglect. These birds have feelings and need attention otherwise they will pluck all there feathers off and at the risk will have a hard time being adopted out. I'm asking you to please consider this. It would save hundreds if not thousands of these birds if the owners would surrender the bird to qualified macaw owners and stop reselling them.
