We petitioners value our freedom and our privacy.
We recognize the risks of a free society include risks to life. We also recognize that to remain a free society we must bravely except those risks, even in the face of loss life from despicable criminal or terrorist acts.
Please do not erode our privacy, or our ability to protect our lives, liberty and property by forcing Apple to reduce the security of the iPhone. To do so would inevitably erode the freedoms which we cherish.
