Protect our students in schools! Instead of disarming innocent people put trained guards in our schools to protect them

In an effort to protect innocent people in our school systems we should place trained guards in our schools to protect people. Taking guns from the hands of millions of innocent people will in no way avert tragedies that plaque our schools and the innocent people within their walls. This might be a great way to put some US Veterans to work as well as they are already trained in the use of firearms and safety. We need to do something to make this work as far too many innocent people have already been wounded or critically injured. Don't just talk about gun control Do something about it!
