With the implementation of the ACA (Obamacare) many businesses are cutting hours of part-time workers. There is NO reason a business should get a discount on a worker by classifying them as part time. Businesses should calculate the cost of all benefits received by full time workers, calculate the per hour dollar amount, and pay part-time workers a per hour premium based on that amount. The only exception being full time students, and those under 21 who have health care under a parent. Every working American deserves respect, and fair pay, not just "full-time workers". The ACA needs this companion legislation to be a success.
