Dear Mr. President,
Please take action to protect the people of Syria from Bashar al-Assad.
I am a resident of the Boston area and was 2 blocks from the second blast that occurred here on Monday. While this was a terrible tragedy, I would ask that it not completely distract your focus from the 70,000 people killed in Syria over the past 2 years and the ongoing conflict there.
Every human being has dignity, not just Americans. Please enact a no fly zone and take whatever measures possible to save the lives of innocent civilians in Syria, even as you work to make America a safer place.
