Government has abandoned its duty to protect American citizens from unregulated industry. We need the natural gas industry to disclose ALL chemicals used in the fracking process and the government to enact legislation that protects our air and water resources from potentially irreversible contamination.
I thought we had learned the lesson in the 1970s that when water catches fire, something needs to change. Remove the loopholes that Cheney's energy lobbyists inserted to shield energy industry from accountability to the citizens of this country. Strengthen the EPA instead of slashing its budget.
When will we learn that you can't drink, eat or breathe money? Unfortunately, it looks like it will only take a catastrophe that touches the lives of corporate CEOs. By then it may be too late.
