Create a federal level dept, free of political parties and individual politicians, that creates fair poling districts, oversees voter laws and ensures enough poling places to accomodate voters.
The American right to vote and be heard is a fundamental building block of our country. It should be impossible for any politician or political party to highjack the elections process via gerrymandering districts, voter intimidation, or illegal voter roll purges. It is clear that our current regulations are insufficient and too slow moving to prevent a few powerful people from silencing American citizens.
The Right to Vote needs to be protected.
