Recently in the news there have been too many cases of biological parents having to fight the adoption industry to try and retain their rights to raise their children. Often times these children are born to Native American or Military parents and are removed across state lines without notification and taken to adoption friendly states where families are declared to have abandoned these children and have their rights terminated. Adoptions were never meant to provide babies to desperate parents, but to find loving homes for abandoned and endangered children. We need to reform private adoptions, uphold the child's constitutional rights, and hold these lawyers and agencies responsible for illegal practices that turn children into a commodity and remove them from fit and loving biological homes
