Bears are amazing, fascinating creatures. Many species of bears are native to the United States, and their ancestors have lived on this land for thousands of years. However, inequities for bears such as under-representation in the media, workplace discrimination, and lack of legal status has stunted their progress to contribute to the American democracy. We believe that bears are central to our society, and it would be unethical to deny them the same rights and privileges we American humans enjoy. Please, people of all genders, creeds, ethnicities, and species. Think of the bears.
