We ask that we do not restrict the rights of firearms owners. But instead enact laws to protect all citizens from those who should not have access to them.
1. Allow for a 3 to 5 day waiting period on all firearm purchases, to allow for a more thorough background check.
2. Restrict access to firearms of those previously convicted of violent crimes.
3. Require background checks for all firearms purchased at gun shows.
4. Require all private transfers of firearms to be registered as well as provide a background check.
5. Restrict access to firearms of those who have been prescribed psychiatric drugs.
6. If a resident of a home resides with a person who has been prescribed psychiatric drugs, proof of purchase of a firearms safe, would be required for all firearm purchases
