Protect the rights of Chronic Lyme patients to adequate Health care.

Created by C.M. on August 17, 2013

Dear President Obama (and Michelle),

Thank you so much for the response letter. Sadly the suggestions in the response letter were avenues that had been pursued previously. I am not eligible for either MHIP or Medcaid or Medicare.
The reasons are listed below as from the previous letter I sent.

Lyme disease is not an accepted disease by the AMA , The IDSA or John Hopkins.
With this being the case, insurance won’t cover the many treatments needed to battle Chronic Lyme because, “it doesn’t exist”.

This contrary to CDC ‘s records. Yet the IDSA refuses to let the guidelines to be updated to the times. Chronic Lyme is on the rise and surpassing HIV as an epidemic.
