Protect rights of Disabled Citizens on Social Security who were hired, then fired in 6 - 12 Mos; then had benefits cut.

Created by G.P. on April 11, 2013

This American followed the rules. I informed SSA when ever I obtained a job after undergoing rehabilitation in 1988. The County and private Social Service organizations I was hired, given paid work "evaluation periods" that ranged from 6 to 12 months.

Just before these "periods" would end I found myself fired - at willed; and at odds with SSA over dollars earned during those 'trial work periods.' They were told of these incidents. Nothing was said about violating any of their earning rules.

In 2010 this cost me my SSA disability and now I am being saddled with an over payment. Now they are telling me that I am no longer disabled.

I am not alone in this situation. Please investigate this matter and effect corrections that will not place disabled Americans on the street without hope.
